Albert Casper, 95, of Springfield, died at 12:13 a.m. Sunday, August 22, 2004 at St. John's Hospital. Albert was born April 27, 1909 in Springfield the son of Frank and Mary Walentukonis Casper in Springfield. He married Agnes Yanor in 1931 in Springfield; she preceded him in death in 1960. He later married Della M. Yanor Sears; she preceded him in death in 1980.
Mr. Casper was a graduate of Springfield High School and Brown's Business College. He worked in the Executive Offices of the C&IM railroad for 20 years. He then founded the Casper Real Estate and Insurance Agency in 1948. Member of the Pol. K. of A. dance group, Lithuanian – American Club of Central Illinois, Illini Country Club and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and infant son: Ronald Wayne Casper in 1932.
He is survived by one son; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
