William F. Peck passed away July 17, 2019 after a long illness. He was born December 1, 1944 in Rome, NY to Francis and Josephine (Serra) Peck. Bill was a 1963 graduate of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Central School, where he was a noted athlete in football, wrestling and baseball. After graduation, he served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1978. He then worked at Rome Cable Corp. and TECH Inc. as an electrician until his retirement.
On December 19, 1963, he married his high school sweetheart, Karen Jones. A union which lasted 34 years until her untimely death. On December 31, 1998, he married Donna Russ McKeown, who survives him.
Surviving besides his wife, are five daughters; three stepdaughters; twenty grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister. He was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers, Edward (Skip) Peck and Charles Peck.
