Carolyn Louise Martin was born on January 23rd, 1944 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Edna (Grigsby) and Roscoe Moore. She loved her family, being a wife, mother and grandmother. Carolyn worked in advertising and was of the Baptist faith. She passed away from this life on August 8th, 2020 peacefully at her home with her family by her side.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Gayla Miller and husband, James of Yukon, OK, Harold Martin of Clayton, OK, Rhonda Askins and husband, Danny Askins of Oklahoma City, OK, Richard Martin of Oklahoma City, OK, and Bill Martin of Oklahoma City, OK; sixteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren; brothers in law and sisters in law, Mary and Jim Cambell of Pauls Valley, OK, Debbie Watson of Oklahoma City, OK, Darrell Martin of Oklahoma City, OK, Jerry Martin of Pink, OK, and Louise Moore of Colorado; and uncle, Mel and Joann Martin of Texas.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Richard Martin; parents, Roscoe and Edna Moore, three brothers, and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Richard Martin, Dylan Martin, James L. Miller Jr., William Martin, Jack W. Holt, and Roscoe Holt.
Visitation will be on Thursday September 3rd, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be on Friday, September 4th, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Sardis Cemetery in Clayton, Oklahoma with Sister Ruth officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
