She married James Walter Brown on February 24, 1951, in Crown Point, Indiana. He survives.

She was preceded in death by one brother Raymond Bliss.
She and her husband had moved from Louisiana, Mo., to Clarksville, Mo., about five years ago. She was a member of the Auburn Presbyterian Church. She was an artist and enjoyed painting portraits and landscape scenes.
