Clarence Ray 'Brown' Hale was the son of Ada Katherine 'Kate' Day and Bruce Hale. 

He died in a house fire at the home of his brother and sister in law, Lloyd and Gracie Hale.  Lloyd and Gracie's two daughters, Barbara Ann and Katherine Ann Hale also died in the fire.
