Kittie married Elihue Kimsey 16 Feb. 1901 in Polk County, TN after he and his first wife Nannie Duncan divorced. Nannie (birthdate June 1876) married Robert F. Payne and they're in Clay County, NC in 1910 with her children, Vance, Addie, Cecil and George (same children as in the 1900 Polk census with her and E. H.) The Clay County delayed birth certificates gives dates and parents for three of their children and it always says Nannie Duncan and E. H. Kimsey and says they married Nov. 9, 1893 at the home of S. H. Green, J. P. And E. H. and Kittie are in Monroe County that same year with children, Willie, Daisy, Ora and Charley.
E. H. and Kittie moved to the coal mines in Kentucky where Kittie died in 1928 and he died in 1950. His daughter Addie came to live with them at some point for she's also buried in Scott Cemetery in Claiborne County, Tennessee, which is just across the state line.
