During my research, I concluded, this George Couchman is not George Alexander Couchman, Find # 10631758 buried in MO. I believe he is George W Couchman born in Lawrence Co. IL. Some data is from Roots Web, which is not always reliable. Searching the Illinois State Civil War Archives, I found 2 George Couchmans;

Suffice to say, this George and George Alexander are 2 different persons: THEREFORE, I do not believe the parents listed below are for this George , but are the parents of George Alexander Couchman.
