Huldah Jane Osborn Bell was born in Ohio on February 18, 1841, died at her home two and half miles south west of Keswick, January 28, 1899; aged 57 years, 11 months, and 21 days. In 1842 she came with her parents to Iowa. Her girlhood days were spent in the vicinity of Davenport. She was united in marriage to Francis Bell, March 3, 1859. This union was blessed with ten children, two of which died in infancy. Mrs. Bell was a kind and loving wife and mother, and a Christian woman. In the spring of 1893 she united with the Christian church. Since then has lived in perfect peace with God. She leaves a kind husband, eight children and host of friends to mourn her departure, but this loss is her gain.
