Mr. Amason was BORN 4/20/1887 and a descendant of one of the pioneer families of Thorndale area. Lived in Thorndale for many years prior to his removal to Austin, thence to Roswell.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Mrs. Birdie Camp Amason, sister of the late H.M. Camp of Thorndale; a daughter, Mrs. R.J. "Potsy" Allen of Roswell, NM.; sister, Mrs. Annie Mae Clement of Austin; 3 grandchildren. He was an uncle of Earl Elliott, Thorndale; Hope Camp, Jr and Ike Camp, both of San Gabriel.
