It confirms that Claxton was buried in Old Bennett Cemetery, which was later incorporated into Laurel Oaks Memorial Park. Claxton's headstone has reportedly been missing since at least the year 2000.
Since Claxton does not appear to be related to any member of the Bennett family, his presence in Old Bennett Cemetery is a mystery.
