Born in Indian Territory near Holdenville, she was the daughter of James Thomas and America Josephine (Linker) Davidson. She married Tommy Hayes on Feb. 5, 1921, in Indianola. After he preceded her in death, she married Joe Vaught on Aug. 13, 1932, in Crowder. A resident of McAlester, she died at her home at the age of 97. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; a daughter, Lenny Marie Hayes; seven brothers, Rance Davidson, Jack Davidson, Tommy Davidson, Bill Davidson, Ervin Davidson, Harrison Davidson and Allen Davidson and four sisters, Emma Davidson Pitts White, Nancy Davidson White, Mary Davidson Kelly and Laura Davidson.
