Ada was a teacher who began her career in 1925 at Delhi. Two years later, in 1927, she changed schools an became a mathematics at Gloversville High School. In 1947, she became head of the Gloversville High School mathematics department. Then in 1951 , she was took the on the role of vice principal for the high school. From 1963-64 she served as acting principal, during the absence of the then Principal Saunders. On June 30, 1968, Ada retired as Vice Principal of Gloversville High School. There are no records to suggest she ever married.
