Victor Ray Franke
Victor went to be with the Lord on August 19, 2020.
Victor was born in Winchester, Texas, on, January 10, 1936, to, Herman Franke and Laura Kasper. He is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Faye Heptner; two brothers-in-law, Walter Heptner and Walter Long, II., sister-in-law, Barbara Long.
Victor is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorris Franke; and son Jeff Franke; grandchildren, Brandi and Jason Frank;, sisters- in- law, Eva Goerlitz and Norma Barr Long; nieces and nephews, Karen Kinsey, Sharon Deming, Sherri Fulton, Darrell and Randy Fendley, Avalee DeVries, Ferral Luman, and Walter Long, III.
Victor, was born and raised in Texas, he served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany where his son Jeff, was born. Victor, worked for the railroad and then in the trucking and shipping industry and retired from McKesson. Victor,was a very kind man and always had a quick wit about things. He was well liked and respected by everyone. He was a devoted family man and loved being with his grand children, Brandi and Jason, who gave him the name, Pop Pop. Victor, was a hard worker and never complained about any task he had to do, He was always ready to give a helping hand. Victor, loved hunting, fishing, yard work, and wood working. Victor, really enjoyed going to church on Sundays. He was a very good cook on the grill and was always trying new things, and of course he had to have a Bud Lite. Victor, married the love of his life, Dorris, and they where married for 61 years
