Probably to be closer to her brother, Joseph Bartlett Nelson (1850-1890), who had relocated there. He is buried in Ft. White City Cemetery, Columbia County, FL. Her sister, Maggie Nelson McCormick (1856-1919), is buried in Elim Baptist Cemetery, Columbia Co., FL. Another brother, Eli Lafayette Nelson (1848-1901), is buried in Red Hill Cemetery, Macon County, GA. And her sister, Julia V Nelson Varnadore (1854-1903), is buried in Maypop Cemetery in Lafayette County, FL.
Francia lived in Columbia County & Madison County, Florida before relocating again to Orange County. Again, probably to be closer to family. Her daughters, Carrie & Sarah had relocated there, as did her son, William Eli Williamson. Francia died in Orlando, Orange County, Florida on October 7, 1909.
