He married Alvina Schwarzentruber Dec. 31, 1901, at West Twin Grove. She died Sept. 30, 1957.
He is survived by eight sons, Alva, Clarence, Wiley, Ray , Wayne, Lloyd, Earl and Clark;
four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Meredith, Mrs. Hazel Maddux, Mrs. Rose Brucker, and Mrs. Opal Mills; four brothers, Jake, Taylor, Bud and Joe;; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Webster and Mrs. Luria Jobe; and 36 grandchildren.
A daughter, three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
