Benjamin Boitnott, 87, of Bloomington, died Monday, at his home.

He was born Oct. 17, 1877, at Salem, a son of Leonard and Lucy Ashworth Boitnott.

He married Alvina Schwarzentruber Dec. 31, 1901, at West Twin Grove. She died Sept. 30, 1957.

He is survived by eight sons, Alva, Clarence, Wiley, Ray , Wayne, Lloyd, Earl and Clark;
four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Meredith, Mrs. Hazel Maddux, Mrs. Rose Brucker, and Mrs. Opal Mills; four brothers, Jake, Taylor, Bud and Joe;; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Webster and Mrs. Luria Jobe; and 36 grandchildren.

A daughter, three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
