Richard B. Martin, 83, of Milton, passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2020, at Milton Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born in Watsontown on Feb. 24, 1937, he was a son of the late Robert R. and Sylvia (Lindauer) Martin. He was married to the former Mary Jane Beaver for 49 years until her death in 2006.
Richard was a 1956 graduate of Watsontown High School and had worked for American Home Foods retiring in 1999. He had served in the PA National Guards and was a member of the F&AM Lodge No. 256.
He is survived by two sons, Keith R. Martin of Montandon and Karl R. Martin of Watsontown; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sylvia "Skip" Stevenson of Lewisburg, and Pamela Bower of Watsontown; and two brothers, James Martin of Ringgold and Philip T. Martin of Milton.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elva Mary Kraft.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Butch Woolsey officiating.
Burial will follow in Montandon Cemetery.
