He left a ranch of over 700 acres to his Wife and 8 children.
The oldest son George stepped up to the task of taking over the business of the ranch.
It was located in Franklin Canyon of Martinez, Contra Costa county, California.
He built the it into a successful family business that was in the family for several more generations. In the year 2020 there still were two parcels of the original ranch owned by family members.
