ROBERT WOODROW MOORE, of Comanche, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, July 21, 2003, at the age of 88. He was a resident of the Meridian Nursing Home.
Mr. Moore was born to E.W. and Maud Hall Moore on September 23, 1914, at Comanche, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Comanche High School. He and Mattie Wilson were married in 1938. He worked as a custodian at Comanche High School for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Pam Strout of Duncan, Okla.; one grandson, Stacy Allen Strout of Duncan; and two great-grandchildren, Stacy and Hunter Strout of Oklahoma City.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mattie, two sons and one daughter.
Graveside services for Mr. Moore were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
