Alicia married Dorman Clay Pendleton on September 8, 1967 and together raised two sons, Clay Anthony and David.

Alicia was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by many, and will be remembered as a devout Catholic who was kind and caring to people from all walks of life.

Alicia is preceded in death by her twin brother Alfredo, who died in infancy; parents; husband; only sister, Maria (Mary) Francisca Soto; and brothers, Porfirio (Pilo) Lara, Pedro (Pete) Lara, and Emilio Lara.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Saturday, August 22, 2020 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Blessing, TX. Holy Rosary will begin immediately following visitation at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass will commence at 10:00 AM followed by burial at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Blessing, TX. Pallbearers are Adrian Lara, Oscar Lara, Paul Soto, Eugene Lara, Ruben Alvarado, and Daniel Galvan, Jr.

If attending, facial coverings must be worn, and social distancing will be observed. As much as we would love to hug and comfort each other, we must play it safe in this difficult time.
