Mr. Kendrick Francis “Ken” Bickett, III, age 73, of Harned, KY, passed away suddenly, on August 18, 2020, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Rick and Virginia Dowell Bickett; his in-laws, John and Mary Walker; and his brother-in-law, Larry Mullins. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Shirley Faye Bickett; one son, Eddie Bickett and his wife, Kristen, Louisville, KY; two step daughters, Tammy Compton and her husband, Robbie and Maria Smith, both of Harned, KY; seven grandchildren, Lily Bickett, Louisville, KY, Katie Henning, Shane Compton, Justin Smith, all of Harned, KY, Haley Compton, Hardinsburg, KY, Marissa Reppond, Owensboro, KY, and Jake Smith, Hawesville, KY; four great grandchildren, Landen and Kamryn Henning, Brayden Kennedy, all of Harned, KY, Layne Heivly, Hardinsburg, KY; his brother, Steve Bickett and his wife, Lorraine, Hardinsburg, KY; three nephews, Gary Bickett, Jeremy Bickett and Larry C. Mullins; and his niece, Sonya Bland. Ken also loved his two dogs, Kasey and BB, and his cat, Romeo.
A public visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM EDT on Saturday, August 22, 2020, from the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg, KY. A graveside memorial service will be held at Harned Cemetery at a later date.
