He was born May 12, 1951, in Buncombe County to the late Charles Lester Brank, Sr. and Winonna Gann Brank. Alfred was a minister and enjoyed singing, fishing, and cutting grass. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jeannette Morris. Those left to cherish his memory are; Wife of 36 years: Linda (Super-side kick) Carr Brank of the home. Sons: Alfred (Dex) Daniel Brank of Woodstown, NJ. Carl Brank of Newton. Daughters: Judith Brank-Sanders of Lakeland, FL. DanaLynn (Krissy) Brank and partner Salem of New Jersey. Aimee Taylor (Jenkins) of Newton. Brothers: Charles Lester Brank, Jr. and wife Vicki of New Jersey. Soe Michael Brank and wife Diane of Fairview, NC. Sister: Judy Mathis of Fairview, NC. Nine Grandchildren. Twenty-one Great-Grandchildren. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
