Born Sunday, February 15, 1931, in New Orleans, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Roy Joseph Gonzales and the late Claudia Crump Gonzales. She was the wife of the late Donald Dolan.
Winifred found joy in traveling and seeing the world. She was an artist and loved to paint. She had a great love for animals and was a member of St John's Catholic Church. She served our country in the Navy from 1951 until 1953. She was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Those left to cherish Winifred's memory are son, Mark (Amy) Dolan of Water Valley, MS; daughter, Leslie (Louis) Hodges of Folsom, LA; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Weir and Elizabeth Hodges Pascual, and 2 great grandchildren, Lily Weir and Samuel Weir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dolan; parents, Roy Joseph Gonzales and Claudia Crump Gonzales; a sister, Dorothy Rodriguez.
A graveside service honoring Winifred's life will be at 12:30 PM on Friday August 21, 2020 at Jacksonville National Cemetery located in Jacksonville, Florida with the Father Jason Trull officiating.
