Lucille Hazel WATTS, oldest known child born to Nancy Amanda"Minday" BEARDEN and Robert Jackson WATTS. The WATTS family lived in the Adger area of Jefferson County, Alabama, working coal mines until Robert went to work in Illinois where in 1918 when Lucille was but 10 years old her father Robert was killed in Coal Mine explosion in Royalton, IL. At the time her mother Minday was pregnant with a 5th child. Her mother shipped Robert South to be buried at the Adger Cemetery in Jefferson County, Alabama.
Minday BEARDEN Watts re-married Mitchell POWERS and had Kathryn, Edward, and Martha POWERS.
Lucille married Virgil Karr.
