They had ten children: Daisy Pearl Baugh Girtley, Samuel "Sammy" Eli Baugh, Luther Roosevelt Baugh, James Roy Allen Baugh, May Lucille Baugh Raley Taylor, Elmer Ray Baugh, Joseph Homer Baugh, Nancy Elizabeth Baugh Crowe, Vera Gladys Baugh Holly, and Alma Tee Baugh Holley . He died on August 7, 1951, in the Ephraim McDowell Memorial Hospital in Danville, Boyle County, Kentucky, at the age of 80, and was buried at the Elder Cemetery in Casey County, Kentucky near his parents and son Sammy.

Mitchellsburg Man Died In Hospital Here
Funeral services were set for 2, o'clock this afternoon at the graveside in Elder cemetery for James Baugh, 70, resident of Mitchellsburg, who died at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Ephraim McDowell Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for some time. He had been a member of Sycamore Christian Church. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. May Raley, Boyle County; Mrs. Gladys Holly and Mrs. Earl Holly both of Mitchellsburg and Mrs. Earl Holly, both of Mitchellsburg; Mrs. Dell Girtley, Louisville; and Mrs. Claude Crowe, Jeffersonville, Indiana; and three sons, Homer Baugh, Perryville, and Luther and Allen Baugh, both of Boyle county. B. O. Harmon funeral home of Gravel Switch was in charge of arrangements.
