Janet Ann Friesen, 84, of Kenosha, entered her eternal home on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Mountain Lake, MN, on April 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth (Unruh) Heide. She was involved in 4H and received her education in Mountain Lake.

On June 18, 1954, she married her high school sweetheart, Erwin K. Friesen, and they spent 66 wonderful years together.

Janet, being an extraordinary homemaker, dedicated her life to her family. She had strong faith and attended First Assembly of God in Union Grove. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, decorating, playing dominoes, doing word searches and coloring. Above all else, Janet loved caring for her grandchildren & great-grandchildren who brought joy to her life. Her family was her pride and joy.

Survivors include her husband, Erwin; four children, Lynell (Debbie) Friesen of Sheboygan, DeLyn (Catherine) Friesen of La Vergne, TN, Vianne Berwick of Rochester, MN, and Jolene Fraser of Kenosha; 10 grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah (Aaron), Micah (Alexa), Jeremy, Britney, Jayson (Cheyenne), Evan, Janae (Lucas), Heide (Joel), and Emily; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her three siblings, Elsie Watts, Edwin Heide and Ervin Heide.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 22nd, at First Assembly of God, 1845 Main Street, Union Grove, WI 53182, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Facial coverings are required for attendance. Interment will take place at Mountain Lake City Cemetery in MN, at a later date.
