GloriAnna "Poopsie" Sloan, 57, Topeka, died Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, at her home.
Mrs. Sloan was a floral designer for Stanley Flowers until she retired because of health reasons.
She was born July 12, 1941, in Duluth, Minn., the daughter of Herbert Andrew and Lilah Irene Oswald Anderson. She was raised in California and was graduated from high school at Union High School at ElMonte, Calif. She also was graduated from the Kansas School of Floral Design in Lawrence.
Mrs. Sloan was a member of the auxiliary to Topeka North Post No. 400 of the American Legion.
She married Carl R. Sloan on Jan. 18, 1988, at Miami, Okla. He survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Deanna Kay Pahmahmie-Anderegg, Topeka, and Linda Pahmahmie Sherman, Mayetta; a son, Jack Lee Pahmahmie Jr., Topeka; a stepdaughter, Carla Gaeta, Mentor, Ohio; a stepson, Richard Sloan, Topeka; her mother, Lilah Anderson, Ozawkie; a sister, LaVonne Broxterman, Ozawkie; a brother, Wayne Anderson, Mira Loma, Calif.; five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Sloan will lie in state after 1 p.m. Monday at the mortuary where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle.
