Barcilisa Diaz Martinez, also known as “Barcy" (April 15, 1941-August 7, 2020), of Sinajana, was called to eternal rest on Aug. 7, 2020 at the age of 79 years.
Mass of Intention was offered on Saturdays at 5 p.m.; on Sundays at 6:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.; and on Mondays at 7 p.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Sinajana. Last respects were paid at 9 a.m. on Aug. 27 at St. Jude Church, followed by a memorial service from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Guam Veterans Chapel in Piti.
Due to the coronavirus, or COVID-19 pandemic, the bereaved were requested kindly to follow the social distancing guidelines of six feet and use face masks.
Interment was conducted at Guam Veterans Cemetery, where we bade her farewell and a peaceful rest.
