SHAMOKIN - Ruth N. (Frye) Haas, 86, died Saturday, July 8, 1989, in Mountain View Manor, Shamokin.
She was born in Mount Carmel, Jan. 31, 1903, the daughter of the late Alfred Frye and Emma (Fetz) Frye. She was married to the Clarence Haas of Kulpmont, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Haas was a member of the United Methodist Church, Kulpmont.
She is survived by two children, Ronald of Sunbury and Mrs. Jean Santell of Kulpmont; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are being made by the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., Kulpmont.
