Harry Dee Williams, 69, entered Heaven’s Gates on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House. Harry was a coal miner with thirteen years of experience. He was an avid sports fan and a born-again Christian.

Born August 14, 1950, he was the son of the late John Franklin "Frank" Williams (1910-1971) and Goldie Gertrude Hensley-Williams (1917-1992). Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Coleman Williams (1937–2019) and Joseph Franklin Williams (1939–1951); four sisters, Anne Mae Williams-Blackburn (1940–1999), Connie Beth Williams (1943–1943), and Dianah Sue Williams-McGann (1948–2004); and his lifelong friend, Danny Harold (Deceased).

He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Laura "Stevie" Williams; son, Robert Williams; daughter, Lori Beth Williams-Brammer & husband Waylon Brammer, whom he considered his son; grandson, Jason Scott Williams; special friend whom he loved like a son, Jay Harold and his son, Jace Harold; three nieces, Sara, Amy and Julie; two great nieces and three great nephews; a special nephew, Buddy and his wife Sherry; and longtime friends, Karen, John and Donald; neighbor Jenny; and his fur baby Lucy.

Services will be at 2:00 pm Friday, August 14, 2020 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny Lusk officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
