After a year-long battle with lung cancer, Robert Gusman Gallegos died at his home in Menifee, California, with his beloved family by his side. Robert was born on June 18, 1940, in Ortiz, Colorado to Otoniel and Elvira Gallegos.

On June 30, 1971, he married Brenda Faye Barnes. They raised a daughter, LaNae, and son, Joshua, until Brenda passed away on August, 3, 1996. On May 22, 2006, he remarried Michelle Myrle Larsen in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Robert was preceded in death by his father Otoniel, and his mother, Elvira; his first wife Brenda, and his brothers Charlie, Gilbert, and Otoniel Jr. and his sisters Betty and Diane. He is survived by his wife, Michelle, his daughter LaNae and son, Joshua, his grandchildren, Brendon, Bryan, Lelei, Elena and Christian, and his brother Issac.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 20th, 2020 at Evans-Brown Mortuary in Menifee at 11:30 AM. Graveside services to follow at 1:30 PM, Olivewood Cemetery.
