Fred Motts, 50, of 1652 11th St., was pronounced dead on arrival Tuesday at Scioto Memorial Hospital of an apparent heart attack.

A World War II veteran, he was a Hibbs Hardware Co. employee.

Surviving are a brother, Charles 359 Coles Ave, West Portsmouth; a half brother, Walter Coyle, 12299 Coles's Blvd., and a half sister, Mrs. Margaret Rollins of Parkersburg, W. Va.

Services are to be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at McKiinley Funeral Home, with burial in Vernon Cemetery,

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
