Sybil Johnson Davis, age 86, of Rye Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at her home.

Born on February 6, 1934 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was a daughter of the late Shuby Johnson and Florence Weaver Allison. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Bluefield, VA and had lived in Nemours for 15 years. Along with her husband, they had worked in area churches for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Rev. William L. Davis, Sr. of the home; daughter, Anita (Joe) Dillon of Rocky Mount, VA; sons, William L. (Patty) Davis, Jr. of Woodlawn, VA, Philip (Karen) Davis of Abbs Valley, VA, and Stanley (Donna) Davis of Tuscon, AZ; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Joe Dillon and Rev. Bill Lykens officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Marion, VA.
