Lavora was born to George Merl and Alberta Finch Batchelor on January 10, 1926. Her step-father Deloss Williams played an important part in her life. Lavora married Bill Burton on 23, Jan 1943 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in Feb. 1957. Mother of William Jr., Patricia, and James. Grandma loved to play her banjo in nursing homes, watch the birds, and work in her garden. She was an active member to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Lavora donated her body to the University of Utah Medical Center to further research Asthma and women's health. After two years her body was cremated and her remains were laid next to her husband Bill.
