Lee Berry, aged 66, died at his home on West Elm street Wednesday evening after an illness of several years. Death was due to hardening of the arteries.

Funeral services held at the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. J.B. Connett of the U.B. Church.

Mr. Berry is survived by his wife and two sons Roy of Olney and Frank of Dundas; also five brothers: Samuel of Los Angeles, CA; Joseph of West Salem, OH; Frank of Lorain, OH; William of Calhoun, IL and Henry of Berryville, IL.

Mr. Berry was born in Ashland County, OH.
He came to Olney when quite young and made this city his home until called to the great beyond.

In 1860 Leander lived with his family in Bonpas Twp, Olney IL and 2 farms over from an uncles family.

His dad Peter, 44, was a farmer born in Pennsylvania.

His siblings Joseph 14, Susan 12, Sarah 12, Leander 10, Samuel 8, Jacob 6, Henry 5, Lucinda 4, William 3.

In 1880, Leander is a brick moulder.
He has a son Frank, 5.

In 1900 Leander and Catherine D. lived in Olney, IL with their son Henry, 20. Henry was a plasterer, he was born in Ohio and his parents in Pennsylvania. Catherine had been born in West Virginia (parents too), she had 2 children but only 1 was still living. They had been married in 1879.

In 1910 they live alone at 723 West Elm Street. He is a brick mason.
