RUTH CARMICAL CANTERBURY, 77, died Saturday, June 15, 1991 in Houston.
Mrs. Canterbury had been a resident of Houston for 63 years, was a member of The Order of Eastern Star and a member of The Gulf Meadows Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas H. Canterbury, her son, Ronald F. Acker, grandson, Ronald F. Acker, Jr., and a brother, Lynn Carmical.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and James H. Honeycutt, Dallas, Lu Alice and Jerry Holtkamp, Houston, daughter-in-law, Carol Acker Beaman, Houston, brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed and Sarah Carmical Robert and Yvonne Carmical, all of Houston, sister-in-law, Alice Carmical. Houston, four grandchildren, Dianna Elsby, Jerry Holtkamp, III, Carrie Welch and Kelly Mooney.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday June 18, 1991 in the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Chapel with Rev. Raymond McHenry officiating. Interment Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
