Ruth A. Wright, 86 years, passed away,
Friday, July 20, in her home.
She was born September 18, 1903 in
Metamora, OH to Adin and Grace (Stetten)
Barnaby. She graduated from Metamora High
School in 1922 and attended business
school in Toledo, OH. Upon her graduation
she started work for Sam Rice, Sr. in
1923, retiring from Rice Grain Company
in 1973. After her retirement she worked
at Lyons Elevator at harvest time.
She was married to Paul Wright, February
28, 1930, who preceded her in death,
November 12, 1983.
She was a lifelong member of Metamora
United Methodist Church; also a charter
member and trustee of Metamora Public
Library since 1927. Also a member and
an officer of Metamora Senior Citizens
Club.
Surviving Is her daughter, Mrs. James
(Marcia) Fisher; 2 grandsons, Peter and
Perry Fisher, of Columbia, SC; brothers,
Douglas Barnaby of Metamora, OH and
Wayne Barnaby of Berkey, OH.
Funeral services will be held Monday
at 11 a.m. in Metamora United Methodist
Church, with interment to follow at
Amboy Township Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Biehl-Malone
Funeral Home, Metamora, OH, from
2-9 p.m. Sunday.
