ERNEST "TED" ACKLEY III

Ernest "Ted" Ackley III of Belmont, died Aug. 10, 2020. Husband of the late Nancy Ackley (Durocher). Loving father of Doug Ackley, Meghan Ackley and Caitlin Reeves. Cherished grandfather of six grandchildren. Devoted partner of Joanne. Brother of the late Carol Woods.

Ted was born August 17, 1935 in St. Louis, MO. After spending his childhood in Arkansas, Colorado and Missouri, he attended Tulane University in New Orleans where he studied Business. After graduation, while serving in the Army Reserves at Fort Devons, he met his future wife, Nancy Durocher. They returned to New Orleans where he graduated from Tulane University Law School. They both had fond memories of living in the French Quarter. After several years, they returned to the Boston area where they started their family and he began his career in law.

A Graveside Service will be held in the Belmont Cemetery,
121 Grove Street, Belmont on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 10:00 AM.
