Thomas was born in Pa., a son of James and Catharine (Sheerin or Sheridan) Horan. His birth date on his Death Certificate is shown as 1856; on the 1880 Carbondale census it shows he was born about 1851; the 1900 census shows he was born Jan. 1859. Need to locate headstone. He was the husband of Bridget (Eagen) Horan. The 1900 Carbondale, Pa. census shows they had 13 children, 6 still living at that time: James, Julia, Michael, Alice, Mary and William. Thomas was a coal miner.
