WILFORD L. STORRS

AMERICAN FORK-Wilford Leon Storrs, 73, of 362 Storrs Ave., American Fork, died Friday, July 8, 1977 at American Fork Hospital of natural causes.

Born March 21, 1904 in American Fork to Joseph H. and Arvilla Rosella Harrison Storrs, he married Nora Smith on June 12, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died
in 1931. On April 14, 1932 he married Jane Grant. They were later divorced. On Nov 7 1941, he married Mia Christopherson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Mr. Storrs served an LDS mission to Australia. He was a Sunday School superintendent and bishop's counselor for several years, and was bishop of the American Fork Seventh Ward for four years. At the time of his death, he was the high priest quorum secretary.

He had been a farmer all his life.

Survivors include his wife; two sons and five daughters, D. Leon Storrs, Provo; Mrs. Robert (Elaine) Sperry, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Bruce (Lorna) Christensen, Ohio; Wilford Jan Storrs, Hazelton, Ida.; Mrs. Wallace (Sheron) Alvey, Okinawa, Japan; Mrs. Steven (Mary) Carlson, Lehi, and Mrs. H.L. (Marcia) Livington, Tallahassee, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Norven L. Storrs, Mrs. Joseph (Betha) Martinez, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Glen (Myrl) Stewart, Ogden.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Anderson and Sonn Mortuary Chapel, American Fork, where friends may call Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in American Fork City Cemetery.
