Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at 11 a.m. in the Roosevelt Second Ward Chapel for Woodrow Daniel Harris, 37, who died July 16 in a Salt Lake hospital of Hepatitis.
He was born May 16, 1935 in Ft Duchesne to Clarence L and Winifred Kitchen Harris Jr. He married Joe Ann Walker in 1956 in Roosevelt. They were later divorced. He married Mary Dale Hamblin Taylor February 20, 1970 in Roosevelt.
He was an Accounts Maintenance clerk for the Bureau Of Indian Affairs at the Ft. Duchesne and an elder in the LDS Church. He served two LDS Indian Missions in Randlett.
Survivors include his widow, Roosevelt, sons and daughters, Daniel Troy, Danny Joe, Cory Ron, all of Vernal; Cayle Brooks, Roosevelt two step children, Brian Russell and Kandice Sue Taylor both of Roosevelt; his parents Ft. Duchesne, a sister and brother Mrs. Frank (Maxine) Ferguson, Gusher, Everett, Ft. Duchesne.
Friends called Wednesday evening and will call at the Oplin Mortuary prior to services today. Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery
