Mrs. Sim C. Clardy
Funeral services were to be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs. Florence Forest Clardy who died yesterday at the family residence, 2250 41st Avenue. The rites were to be held at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Harmon E. Tillman conducting.
Mrs. Clardy, who was a Methodist, leaves her husband, Sim C. Clardy; two daughters, Mrs. Clayton Mathis of Quitman; and Mrs. P. A. Garrison of Meridian; and one son, Glennis S. Clardy of Dallas, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Interment was to be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers: P. E. Hatten, Wirt B. Adams, W. B. McCann, J. H. Lancaster, J. T. Wynne, Elwood W. Williams, Bruce Strickland, and Thomas C. Pettey.
