Services for Laura M. Alder, 96, ;Logansport, will be held at 2 p.m. thursday in Fisher Funeral Chapel, 1801 Chase Road.
Mrs. Alder died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday in Miller's Merry Manor.
Born Jan. 16,1899, in Cass County, she was the daughter of William H. and Martha Ellen Murphy Hoover. On July 18,1914, in St. Joseph, Mich., she was married to Elisha Alder, who died July 17,1973.
Mrs. Alder, a homemaker, attended the former Grace Bible Church. She was a high school graduate.
Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth E. Alder, Logansport, and Marian Campbell,Cornell, Wis.; four grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
One sister and four brothers preceded in
death.
The Rev. William Art Maloney will officiate
at the services. Burial will be in Bethel
Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m. Wednesday in the funeral chapel.
