Carla Ann Modesitt Frank of Denver, Colorado passed away on August 1, 2020.

Carla Ann Modesitt was born in Denver, Colorado to Carl L. Modesitt and Willa (Spier) Modesitt on November 26, 1929.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willis T. Frank, her parents, and brothers Leland Modesitt and Jean Modesitt.

Carla graduated from the Kent School for Girls in 1947. She then attended Vassar College. For a time, she worked at KDEN with Gene Amole. Carla loved playing tennis and golf and was a founding member of the Valley Country Club. She also enjoyed Bridge and hosted Bridge Club parties regularly. Carla was a member of Christ Church and very active with her church community.

Carla is survived by her children Candace Hogan (Frank) and Carl Frank (Genny), step-children MacGregor Frank (Vicki) and Martha "Kisi" Garrison (Gary) and her grandchildren Erin Hogan, Kari McKee (Greg), Keely Thompson (P.J.), Emily Frank (Jolyon), Marcus Frank and Charles Frank. She was also blessed with 4 great-grandchildren Frances, Ace, Hogan and Esther.

Services will be private.
