Suddenly, at his residence, on Monday, April 14, 1980, Amos Breneman, age 84 years, of 515 Langs Dr., Cambridge (P), formerly of Crescent Street, Kitchener. A member of First Mennonite Church.
Beloved husband of the former Clara Zehr; dear father of Elton of Calgary, Alta., Mrs. Gordon (Helen) Lichty of Barrie and Mrs. Edith Tilley of Toronto; brother of Mrs. Lydia Bender and Mrs. Annie Zehr, both of Tavistock, Mrs. Lavina Brenneman of Milverton; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren also survive. He was predeceased by his parents and one sister, Mrs. John (Katie) Kropf.
Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. Kitchener, after 7 p.m. today, until noon Thursday when removal will be made To First Mennonite Church for funeral service at 3 p.m., with Rev Bruce Balmer and Rev. Vernon Zehr Officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
