Mrs. Rosa M. Eckenrode, 73, widow of Vincent D. Eckenrode, died this morning at the home of a son, Earl Eckenrode, at Columbus, O. She had been an invalid for the past 20 years. Mrs. Eckenrode left her home in Goshen last August to live with her son. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are four children, Harry Eckenrode, of Muskegon, Mich.; Mrs. C. A. Bates, of South Bend; Mrs. Mace Henry, of Goshen; and Earl Eckenrode, at whose home she died; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Dr. P. A. Quick, of Muskegon, Mich. Mr. Eckenrode died in 1922. The body will be brought to Goshen.
