Mr. Logan died Wednesday at a Topeka nursing home.
He was born April 8, 1908, in Clinton.
Mr. Marshall worked as a maintenance and groundskeeper at Kansas University for many years.
He was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Lawrence, and had been a Sunday school teacher there for many years.
He married Aurora DeMoss on Sept. 19, 1934. She survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Edna M. Rice, Richmond, Calif., Betty A. Jones and Janice Armstrong, both of Topeka; a son, Daimon E. Logan, Topeka; four sisters, Margarete Georgia and Katherine Shields, both of Lawrence, Pearl Turner, Baldwin, and Ruby M. King, Topeka; four brothers, Arthur Logan, Altadena, Calif., William Robert Logan, Moreno, Calif., Samuel E. Logan, Lawrence, and LeRoy Logan, San Diego; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
