Died 9:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 1991, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 74, a native of Bauxite, Ark., and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired electrician with Local No. 995 I.B.E.W. and a U.S. Navy "Seabee" veteran of World War II. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., 10 a.m. to noon Monday. Graveside services at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Cemetery at 1 p.m. Monday, conducted by Father Rodoffo Ibanez. Survived by wife, Bonita Jewell Hubbard, Baton Rouge; a son, Robert Carey Hubbard Sr., Greenwell Springs; a granddaughter, Stacy Hubbard Hudson, Baton Rouge; and a grandson, Robert Carey Hubbard Jr., Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by parents, George P. and Lula Nezat Hubbard; a brother, Arthur H. Hubbard Sr.; and a sister, Verlie H. Goudeau. In lieu of flowers, family request memorial donations be made to Cancer Society of Greater Baton Rouge, 650 Steele Blvd., 70806 or a favorite charity.
