HOLOBINKO, Isabel F. (Hawkins)
Madera - Isabel F. Hawkins Holobinko, 89, of Madera, died at 6:45 PM Saturday April
29, 2000, at her residence. Born March 28, 1911, in Madera, she was a daughter of
William H. and Rosella (Kepart) Hawkins. On April 26, 1942, in Ambridge, she wed,
Frank "Bill" Holobinko, who survives in Madera. A 1930 graduate of Madera High
School, she was a member of the Methodist Church, Madera; Madera Fire Ladies
Auxiliary; a charter member of Pocahontas Auxiliary of Redman Lodge, Madera, and the
Dairy Maids of Curwensville. In addition, she is survived by a nephew, James Hawkins
of Springfield, Mass.,who she raised as a son and several nieces and nephews. Mrs.
Holobinko was the last of her generation being preceded in death by her parents; seven
brothers and four sisters, William, Essington, Lee, Edwin, Thomas, Charles, Richard,
Elizabeth, Lydia, Margaret, and Nora. Services will be held at 11 AM at Kruise Funeral
Home, Madera, with Rev. Dennis Adams officiating. Interment will be in the Umbria
Cemetery, Osceola Mills.
