Carol was born April 9, 1938 to Emmett Needham and Gaitha Berry Needham in Alva. She attended Alva High School and graduated with the class of 1956. She was a branch manager for Sarah Coventry Jewelry for many years. She then purchased Vic's Etc. which was known for gifts for the home, Yankee Candles, bridal registries, flower arrangements, and the annual Christmas open house with themed trees. She loved working outside keeping her flowers beautiful. She was a pet lover always taking in strays. Carol loved her family with all her heart and was often a second mom to many of their friends. She was a strong, generous woman with a caring heart and a fighter to the very end. Carol was an active member of Cherokee First Baptist Church and continued to view online when unable to attend.
