A native of Concord, he was the husband of Shirley Glasgow Adams, who survives and the son of Calvin and Odessa Adams, both deceased. Mr. Adams was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He retired from the City of Burlington as a lake warden and in park maintenance. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Starcher of Snow Camp; grandson, Holden Starcher of Snow Camp; brother, Sonny Adams of Concord; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery
